Now, the fog comes,

And fills our streets with confusion.

We cannot find our way through it,

So we stay indoors, and hope everything

Turns out for the best.

That is the state of our nation now,

After the horrific death of an imperfect emperor.

He wasn’t the greatest ruler we ever had,

But he certainly did what he could,

With the limited resources he was given.

All the people ask now,

Why did another member of this family

Have to pass away so swiftly?

We knew you had a few enemies,

But, we didn’t think it’d come to this,

We can only hope that the young prince

Will lead us to greater prosperity.

It’s a sad day today,

There is corruption within’ our borders,

It turns out, that all along,

Within’ our very own home,

There was a sinister plot,

That unraveled on that unfateful night.

There is a sense of paranoia

Filling our streets.

Everybodys watching their back,

Looking all four directions

Looking for the monster

That destroyed a good man.

When you have so much fog surrounding your land,

It’s hard to see what might be lurking.

It’s very possible that a snake

Could have been slithering around,

And we never seen it coming.

(We never seen you coming.)

All the people ask now,

Why did another member of this family

Have to pass away so swiftly?
